About Me — Grace Leverich
My childhood, education and passions
Hello! I am so thankful you’re reading this.
After four months of writing on Medium, I decided it’s time to share my story with my lovely supporters.
Childhood
I grew up in Indiana with my dad, step mother, three brothers and two sisters.
Growing up in a family of eight was chaotic at times.
But it was so nice always having siblings to play with. We could ride bikes, play Monopoly or watch a TV show together whenever we wanted.
My siblings provided constant company & goofiness. They also became amazing role models for my future.
I played basketball and ran track throughout high school. I loved sports.
Education
After high school, I began college determined to major in criminal justice. I wanted to help reform the broken system. I wanted to do my part to help.
Well, that plan lasted a whole year.
The classes I had to take were SO depressing.
I remember one class I took, titled “Death Penalty in America,” gave an assignment where we had to react to prisoners last words before they died by capital punishment.
